If your child faces challenges with communication, literacy, feeding, speech or social interaction, Kid Speak is here to help. We provide various services to assist with early child development.. There are many developmental milestones throughout a child’s life, and aim to help kids reach their potential with pride and confidence. At Kid Speak, we aim to provide understanding and support for your child.
From communication issues to concerns around social interaction, we have a range of therapies designed to help your child thrive. Our goal is to identify issues early so we can develop a tailored therapy program to fully support your child’s progress.
We strongly believe that flexibility is crucial when dealing with children’s developmental issues. No two children are the same, and that’s why our therapy plans are tailored to your child’s specific needs. From speech pathology in Bibra Lake to assisting with literacy issues, every plan is fully customised and also flexible to change as your child progresses.
Collaboration is important to us at Kid Speak. We consult thoroughly with parents before conducting assessments or developing treatment plans. With ongoing discussions, we take very much a team approach to helping your child get the most out of life.
We have been at Kid Speak for a while now and I refuse to leave because the teachers are so good with the level of support and help they provide for both my boys.

Children develop at their own pace, but certain indicators may suggest your child could benefit from speech therapy. For example, you may notice issues with pronunciation, comprehension of instructions, sentence formulation or speech sound errors. Our Speech Pathologists n can identify communication problems and support your child’s journey.
The length and the type of therapy provided can vary considerably depending on your child’s unique needs. Our flexible, tailored plans are constantly adjusted to align with your child’s progress. So, treatment may vary from a few weeks to several years.
Speech therapy rebates can be claimed with private health insurers. Your rebate will depend on your level of cover. Medicare rebates may also be available under a Medicare subsidized Health Care Plan (accessed via your General Practitioner).
Our speech therapists are located near you. We have speech pathology clinics both North and South of Perth in Shenton Park and Success.
Our Shenton Park clients visit us from many of the surrounding suburbs such as Daglish, Subiaco, Jolimont, Wembley, Floreat, Claremont, Mount Claremont, Karrakatta and Nedlands to name just a few suburbs close by.
Our Success clinic is visited by clients from the surrounding suburbs such as Cockburn, Jandakot, Beeliar, Bibra Lake and Leeming to name just a few suburbs close by our South of the River clinic.
Not always. Parents/ carers may self refer by calling (08) 6383 9918 or emailing enquiries@kidspeakperth.com.au. A referral from your General Practitioner is required for families claiming sessions under a Medicare subsided Health Care Plan.
Many children are shy, especially around new people and this is developmentally appropriate!.. Our friendly Speech Pathologists create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where your child will be comfortable. We get to know your child and understand that all kids have their unique preferences and ideas.
Not at all! Speech and language skills require practise and develop over time. We can work with you to build these skills to ensure they become easier for your child.
